Engineering Status of VENDOR.Max
A record of the current state: the architectural lineage, the configurations implemented, and the distinction between what is established, what has been observed, what remains within the calculated model, and what is under verification.
System identity
The system contains no rotating electromechanical converter and uses no combustion cycle.
VENDOR.Max is a nonlinear electrodynamic system operating in a controlled discharge-resonant regime.
Engineering lineage
Where the architecture comes from, and which part of it the patent addresses.
| Element | Content |
|---|---|
| Pre-existing architecture | Discharge switching, charge storage, resonant electrical structures, transformer coupling and electrical power conversion belong to established technical fields in which the patent family is classified. The published VENDOR patent disclosure likewise takes as its starting point an architecture that already existed, with temporary startup, storage, discharge excitation, a resonant stage, a feedback path, a separate take-off and rectification. VENDOR does not claim these elements individually as its distinguishing architectural contribution. |
| The limitation identified | A single discharge path is sensitive to changes in electrode condition and in the discharge gap. Its excitation spectrum shifts relative to the resonant operating region. |
| Patented architectural development | Parallel discharge channels with different breakdown thresholds and shifted, overlapping spectra. The stated purpose is to maintain the cumulative excitation spectral density as conditions in an individual channel change. |
| After the patent | The current system is an engineering implementation that has since evolved further. The patented structure captures a particular architectural solution disclosed by the patent family and is not a description of the current engineering revision. |
The distinguishing architectural contribution of the patented solution does not lie in the presence of discharge excitation, resonance, a feedback path or a separate take-off as such. It lies in the organisation of multi-channel excitation with different breakdown thresholds and shifted, overlapping spectra.
Engineering configurations
Two engineering configurations have been implemented. A next-generation board-level revision is now under development.
Built
The starting source sits outside the device and is physically disconnected once initiation is complete. Transient reserve is carried by capacitive storage.
Built
The battery sits inside the enclosure and, once startup has finished, changes functional role: from an initiation source to a bidirectional operating-regime buffer. In this configuration the battery boundary is managed by the BBMS — Battery Boundary Management System. The quantitative role of the BBMS remains subject to separate attribution.
Under development
A new board-level architecture is being developed for the next VENDOR.Max prototype. The regime-forming principle and the base architecture are unchanged; the board architecture, the output-conversion path and the subsystem interfaces are being reworked to support a native DC output and higher-power output-port configurations.
State register
The current system state is separated into five explicit evidence classes.
- Architecture and the connectivity of the conversion path.
- Two implemented configurations.
- The controlled discharge-resonant regime.
- Separation of the regime-forming architecture from the product output interface.
- Implemented hardware: board assemblies, power devices, magnetic components and storage elements.
- A repeatable operating regime.
- Operation under resistive load.
- Operation under combined load with an inductive component and recurring peaks.
- Restart.
- Extended continuous operation.
- Internal equivalent parameters of the assemblies.
- Regime dependencies.
- Conversion coefficients between operating planes.
- A quantitative model of the self-consistent operating point.
- Independent measurement at an agreed boundary.
- Quantitative attribution of the BBMS role in Revision B.
Investigation of the complete energy balance of the device at its external boundary is not finished. The values in the calculated model follow from the adopted equivalent models of the assemblies. They are not a power specification and do not substitute for independent boundary metrology.
- Certified performance figures.
- Complete energy-source attribution of the output.
- Readiness for series production.
Next engineering stage
Four stages, in order. Detailed engineering tasks remain an internal working layer.
- Next-generation board-level architecture and prototype build
- Independent metrology at an agreed boundary
- Closure of the quantitative operating-point model
- Conformity engineering
