Pilot Readiness Assessment for EU Infrastructure Operators
A paid technical fit evaluation that establishes whether VENDOR.Max is suitable for pilot deployment at your site — before either side commits to a pilot.
This page describes how operators qualify for a pilot deployment inside the European Union. It is not a product page, not a purchase channel and not an open beta. Pilot deployments are conducted in EU member states only. Submitting an application is free. If the scenario passes initial screening, the assessment scope and fee are defined before any paid work begins.
Four conditions required for assessment
An application is assessed only when every condition below holds. Initial screening takes place before technical evaluation, which is why the qualification criteria are published in advance.
- The deployment site is located in an EU member state. Pilot agreements, deployment preparation and field support are organised inside the Union.
- The applicant has operational responsibility for the site. Operators, utilities, tower companies and integrators are eligible where they are directly responsible for the site or formally authorised by its operator to act on its behalf. Applications from intermediaries without a disclosed operating principal are not eligible.
- A specific site and a specific load exist. A real scenario with a defined power profile, duty cycle and access constraints. Concept studies and market surveys are not scenarios.
- A named technical contact is authorised to share site data. Load figures, service history and site-access conditions are required inputs to the assessment.
Sites outside the European Union may be registered for notification when additional markets open and are not assessed under the current program. Registration carries no fee and creates no commitment on either side.
Where the assessment has something to work with
The evaluation is built for sites where servicing is expensive and continuity is contractual. Where the existing power architecture already meets the site’s continuity, serviceability and economic requirements, the assessment may conclude that a VENDOR.Max pilot would add insufficient value.
- Fuel logistics or battery replacement cycles driving site cost
- Field servicing at remote or difficult-to-reach locations

- Off-grid and weak-grid critical infrastructure

Four stages, one written verdict
Every assessment ends with a written Pilot Readiness Decision for the submitted scenario. The decision records technical fit, unresolved constraints, proposed acceptance criteria and the basis for the recommendation. A negative verdict is a valid outcome of the assessment.
Scenario review
Site data, load profile, duty cycle and current supply architecture are examined against the operating envelope of the installation.
Infrastructure fit
Physical siting, thermal conditions, access regime and service intervals are assessed for the specific locations proposed.
Technical alignment
Interface, metering, telemetry and acceptance criteria are defined jointly, together with the measurement protocol used by both parties to evaluate the pilot.
Readiness decision
The assessment findings are consolidated into a written decision: ready, conditional or not ready. Where a pilot is justified, scope, duration, responsibilities, data handling and exit conditions are defined for the next step.
The scenario is suitable for pilot definition.
Potential fit exists; specified prerequisites must be resolved first.
A pilot is not justified for the submitted scenario.
The assessment considers whether the target load, electrical interface and existing site arrangement are suitable for an operating model based on initiation and periodic servicing rather than continuous external energy supply. It does not determine the technology-validation result, extend the scheduled maintenance interval, or establish battery or equipment life.
What the program does not provide
Listed so that applications arrive with the right expectation. Each item is a standing rule of the program.
- Unrestricted hardware access or units for independent disassembly
- Consumer or commercial pre-orders
- Open beta participation
- Internal engineering documentation
- Schematics, oscillograms, frequency maps or any material enabling architectural reconstruction
Deep technical disclosure is governed by intellectual-property protection, not communication preference. The boundary runs between evidence required to evaluate performance and engineering detail capable of enabling architectural reconstruction. Have ready: the legal entity, the country and location of the site, a short description of the load and its duty cycle, the intended timeline and a technical contact. A named site is required: applications without a defined deployment scenario do not enter technical assessment.
